I know we have a few ISU fans on here (ISU Matt) and this game could be pivitol to both teams as they head into the conference race after this game...

I think ISU has the better team right now and their performances (especially against Iowa Sate) to start the season have been impressive...tougher conference...better record...hopefully we can keep it close, but I am going with my heart right here and picking the Racers in an upset 30-27 (I probably wouldn't bet my house on it though)

About Illinois St...WIth the excellent of virtual unknown QB Luke Drone, ISU's offense is clicking on all cylinders. Drone to WR Laurent Robinson has been a potent hook up the 1st 3 weeks of the season. When not throwing the ball, the 3 headed rushing monster of Brian Thompson, Pierre Rembert, and Raphael Rice are carrying the load (180 ypg) behind an excellent OL (Stegman, Wiggins, Davis, Downing, and Hartman). The Bird D has been most impressive holing EIU to under 200 yds last week and shutting out Drake in the 2nd half and EIU for 3 quarters!!

At home I really dont think this game will be that close...

Illinois State looking like they may be a force to be reckoned with this year!! I have been concerned all along with UNI's trip to Normal in a few weeks. They haven't done well there regardless of either team's record headed in to the game.
