Consider it done.
Watford, a 6-4, 280-pound defensive tackle from Simon Gratz High with only two seasons of football on his resumé, has made an oral commitment to James Madison University.

Not an NCAA violation for a recruited athlete to talk to any alums of the school he signs with. Heck, in some states that would mean they couldn't talk with a large % of the college educated adult population.

Yeah, what rule was violated? He's (Jordan) is allowed to talk to, even a prospect, after the prospect's junior year. As long as he doesn't give him something of value (monetary or accomodation), they can talk an unlimited number of times.

C'mon GF, you know better than that. Representatives of athletics interest are not allowed to contact recruits, whether they give them anything, or not. If you run into a kid in a social situation, you're allowed to be cordial, but you're not supposed to discuss the kids recruitment. If this were not the case, our schools would be organizing committees of alumni to work on kids. We'd have Darren Sharper making calls. Recruiting is done by coaches, and student hosts while a kid is visiting. Check with your compliance officer, and see if you're allowed to have conversations with a recruit and offer him "insight".
