I had the opportunity to storm the court once in my life and it was a pretty cool experience. It was in 2000 when Syracuse beat down #1 and defending national champ Uconn at the Carrier Dome. There must have 13,000 people that tried to make it on the court and i believe they all made it eventually. I tried to sneak out with on of the team chairs in the chaos but security stopped me. xrotatehx

Usually I am not a big fan of storming the court/field, but things like that are really cool. The only time I have ever stormed the court was when Wazzu beat Gonzaga last year here in Pullman. And I agree, any time Kansas loses, especially to an up and coming program, is good.

I have stormed the court one time - when Oregon took down then #1 UCLA 68-66 at Mac Court in Eugene last season (this is pre Kevin Love xrolleyesx ). It was the first time the Ducks had beat a #1 team since beating Wooden's UCLA Bruins in `75.

K-State is a serious contender this year. Historically, and before either school in Kansas figured out how to play football, both were powers in basketball. K-State/KU game was always the game of the year then.

That win was definitely worthy of a 'court stormin'.

However there were soooooooo many students out on the court, there was hardly any room to actually storm! Haha. It was more like a 'walk' the court.

I was involved in two of them.

Football: when Western Kentucky won the national championship against McNeese State. xbowx xbowx

Basketball: when the Lady Toppers beat Louisiana Tech while they were in the Sun Belt. xthumbsupx xbowx
