We will have to see if Vidlak is good to go next Saturday, as he was injured against Nicholls in the 4th.

Vidlak currently leads the nation in TD passes with 27.

Even if he is good to go Carthel will probably use him sparingly in the Commerce game.

The backup QB is redshirt freshman Gavin Rutherford, who is more mobile.

If the Jacks have any kind of rushing game, they will win. McNeese was 2-12-2 in passing (Yes, that's right, only 16 passes), but the Pokes ran for 367 yards (over 200 in the first half).

I agree, that's why I think Vidlak sits this one out, and coach lets him heal up for the final two games of the season, with both games being at home against two Top-20 teams in UIW and Abilene Christian.

SFA averages 173 yards a game rushing, and leading rusher Qualan Jones appears to be back after missing a couple games due to injury, but he only played a couple of snaps against Nicholls, Jaylen Jenkins and Jerrell Wimbley can also carry the load if need be.

The Jacks control their own destiny, win out, finishing 9-3, they are in the playoffs.

It's going to be difficult though, needing two upset wins against back to back top-20 teams in Nacogdoches, but first things first, can't look pass the Lions.
