I think the biggest winner with this week's outcomes might be URI. They went from a 15-16 seed afterthought to a possible 1st round bye if they keep winning and a few very possible outcomes happen (like Montana losing to Montana State in the Brawl).

beating Monmouth (0 votes in poll) is enough to move them up 7-8 spots in your book? Their next game @Delaware is tough though. Beyond that it’s only Albany and Bryant (combined 5 wins). So they should reach 10 wins. But what exactly is the signature win? (Could be Delaware).

I’d give Western Carolina the nod for biggest win. Beat ranked Chattanooga, against all odds and saved their season (QB1 Cole Gonzalez, player of year candidate is out).

Haven’t watched game yet, but overcoming the HUGE adversity of losing the pre-season & presumptive SoCon OPOY & Payton Finalist, Cole Gonzales, to defeat a Top 10 worthy Chattanooga Team after a heart-breaking loss to a Top 5 worthy Mercer Team Team SCREAMS volumes about the quality of this WCU Team, despite Chatt’s also-OPOY-worthy QB also being out…which says a lot about Chatt, as well.

WCU, Chatt, ETSU, and, of course, Mercer, are all HIGHEST-QUALITY FCS Football Teams. All 4 should be in the Playoffs. They won’t be, of course…but at least 3 of them not getting in, will be a travesty…when (not if) it happens.
