UCLA QB Transfers to Hornets

Walk-on UCLA QB to transfer to Sacramento State.
http://128.97.251.217:8080/img/photos/2008/01/30/web.sp.football.picA_t135.jpgMcLeod Bethel-Thompson, the walk-on quarterback who appeared in two of UCLA’s biggest games last season, has left UCLA and will transfer to Sacramento State, the athletic department announced Tuesday.
Bethel-Thompson played just two games in his two years in Westwood, one against Notre Dame in a 20-6 loss at the Rose Bowl, and the second against Brigham Young in the Las Vegas Bowl. He relieved injured starters in both games.

He played very good against BYU. He rallied them back in the fourth quarter and played well in the clutch. He drove them the length of the field only to have the FG blocked. I was surprised how well he did for a walk-on with very little game experience.

He should do well at Sacramento St. if given the opportunity to play. xthumbsupx
