Week 10 games, Saturday Nov 2nd:
North Dakota @ Indiana State
Youngstown State @ Illinois State
Southern Illinois @ Missouri State
Murray State @ South Dakota State
Northern Iowa @ North Dakota State
South Dakota vs Idle

Week 9 summary:
A lot of road favorites this week which usually means there's an upset or two brewing... I'm going to take a stab in the dark that YSU pulls off the surprise.
I agree with Dr. Chaos that an upset is brewing... problem is, he's wrong and I'm right. Going for the super dark horse here, some might even call it a shade of deep purple... or maybe it's a shade of purple rain, purple haze, or purple sky.... Panthers finally wake up and decide to be scrappy in the olllll Uni-dome, taking down the Bears who thought they could take a week off as they got ready to play for the highlight of their season in a few weeks... spoiler at NDSU or vs SDSU.
You heard it first here folks! #BookIt!
I'd agree with you though --- SIU at Indiana State could be sneaky close, and the Ice Castle is always a hard place to play where weird things happen regardless of home team strength.
Yotes look good too... never know what'll happen.... but I think Jacks will be okay among the friendly sea of blue.
Just like the Professor and I said... this week was ripe for upsets! Only problem is.... they were all the wrong ones, for me at least....
A wild week in the Valley as the Trees knock off the injury-laden Fancy Dogs in Terre Haute and the F'in Hawks drop a heartbreaker in OT in the Castle of Ice to the Flightless Birds (literally... (https://youtu.be/KS3zR8B1JT4?t=209)). But as the kid's say... you can't do that! UND still winless on the road 2/3s the way through their season...
The Mangy Dogs nearly caught the Bumbling Hares in OT as well, but let a win slip through their paws. And my lonely pick of the Scrappy Kittens over the Slumbering Bruins turned out to be quite wrong, as the Bears stayed awake enough to secure a final 49-42 win. And in the only game of the week with more than a single score difference, Bison did Bison things in Kentucky, showing the Speedy Horses they just aren't fast enough to compete with the top of the Valley and FCS.
Congrats to mvfcfan, TrooperCoats, and Professor Chaos for being the only ones to nab one of those elusive upset picks. Everyone else (including myself)... sucks to suck. OSRacer must have been too scared to pick this week against a #1 ranking, but to keep up appearances for him, I dropped in a symbolic vote for the Racers over Bison.

Finally a little separation in the standings too -- congrats to current first place mvfcfan, both in wins and win percentage! Your Sycamores did you a big solid!!
