What kind of money do these guys make?

Not usually enough to be their only job. A couple hundred bucks a game is what most make. A good number of UAlbany guys end up playing for the Albany Conquest in the AF2.

In AF2 you get 250 bucks a game if you win and 200 if you lose. You also get health insurance while under contract. You get free housing and free meals. About half the guys have other jobs but normally just a part time thing. There are alot FCS guys playing AF2 in search of a football job that pays more money. The budget for these teams is between 1 and 2 million. Most teams can easily pay the players alot more but about 1/3 of the teams barely can field a team financially as it is.

He had the tools, but was held back due to the offense the Griz ran.(but weren't we allxsmhx )

Add to that fact he came in and learned the system in one year. Overall I thought for the time he had to learn our offense, he did pretty well.

By the way, Swogger looked great at the NFL combine. Better than a few that are pros now. Sometimes its not how good you are, its still about where you went to school. David Ball ring a bell.
