You gotta hand it to Boston sports fans, is there a smarter, classier bunch than these beer swilling, wife beating chowdah heads?

Here's a thought maybe the guys name is Joe Colven and thought that it would be cool to customize the ejrsey with a player whos name sounds the same but is spelt a little different?
Now let's talk classy shall we?

Actually, I know this guy. His name is Dave Colven. One of his friends had the shirt made for him.

1) You're accepting a random comment at face value?
2) Baseball Jersey Rules 101: (http://www.joesportsfan.com/column.php?storyid=148) I fail to see how rule #3 would not also apply to football jerseys.

Please, if you were a Jets fan, what would you rather watch? xrotatehx
Plus, that Herald article is relatively old news. At best, it's a really weak attempt at smack talk (Amstel Light over whiskey? Is she serious? xeyebrowx ), and at worst just unprofessional insults.
I tend to believe it's the former, but that's just me

Yeah... what's your point? :D
Our dislike of the Patriots in no way diminishes Rule #3, thus making "Dave Colven" an a$$-clown.

Hey Marcus, remember when the Packers beat your Eagles and you told me the Pack still sucks. 14-4 with a NFC championship game seems pretty good. The didn't finish the job but they have a shot next year.
Most fans talk a lot of ***** Pats, Giants, etc...

This is lead in i've been waiting for.
I've been wondering ever since I've started reading AGS who "Marcus Garvey" is. He has stated he is not a black man, but yet sports the name Marcus Garvey, he rarely if ever posts in the FCS Discussion so I always wondered who is team was? I know he lives in Arizona but loves Philly, so that makes me wonder, is his College team from the northeast. Please Marcus answer my questions!!! inquiring minds want to know.:) xnodx xpeacex

Yeah, but they're still sitting on their asses watching the game from home, same as the Eagles. They stank against the Eagles, and you know it. It just happens that for most of the season, Brett "Gunslinger" Favre wasn't making stupid mistakes. But dammit, you had to be thinking of that 4th and 26 game when he just said "F-k it! I'm throwing it up for grabs" in overtime agains the Giants.
Ahhh... Gunslinger, you let me down most of the season, but saved the best for last!

Black is a state of mind my brother! xlolx
In all seriousness, I grew up in Bethlehem,PA and used to follow Lehigh and Lafayette. I lived in Upstate New York, then later New England and continued following I-AA football. I'm not a fan of anyone team, though I lean toward the Patriot schools.
However, after 8 years in Arizona, I care less and less about I-AA, hence why I'm seldom on the FCS board. But I've been around for all 3 incarnations of this board.

Typical Packers fan... bringing up the past. xrolleyesx Your team choked deal with it. My team sucked, and I've dealt with it. I've accepted the loss to the Packers. That still doesn't change that they looked awful against the Eagles, only the Birds played even worse. Them's the breaks.
It should be fun watching Brett next year. Was this a one-year wonder for the Gunslinger in the twilight of his career? We shall see.
My favorite quote about Packers fans belongs to a bar owner in Tucson. His bar was always full of snow birds watching the Packers games on Sunday. My buddy, a Steelers fan, asked if he could switch to the Pittsburgh game. There were a few other Steelers fans in the bar too. The owner thought about it for a second, then said this:
You know what? F--k the Packers! These old people come in, drink water and don't tip for *****! The hell with this! xlolx xlolx xlolx He put the Steelers game on after that rant.
While that is not the case of all Packers fans, it still had us laughing our arses off.

You can't compare Giants and Jets fans. The crowd at the Giants' games is probably the most sophisticated in all of football. Bring your resume to the Giants' game.
But both are more sophisticated than a Boston crowd. Let's face it: Boston -- and all of New England -- is really just a suburb of New York -- and Boston is the low rent district of the area.
