The Hawks come to town to face YSU and have a record of never having lost to the Penguins. UND is 4-0 all time against YSU with the latest 2 games being 4 and 3 point wins. I expect another close game.
YSU will be handicapped with a poor D and a QB who has thrown as many INTs as TD passes (7). Hawks have been decent on D and their O shows a balance between run and pass. At 5-2, they will be the favorite against 2-6 YSU.
Game notes are out for both. Hawks actually look undersized on D. YSU will have a size advantage on O. There maybe some changes for YSU as they are starting to have nagging injuries. YSU RBs have been limited and they are playing 3-4 RBs sharing the load.
The local natives are getting restless on the cheerleader board as YSUs lack of success grows. The clueless are always the last to know.

A mobile QB is something that has caused issues for UND in the past. Defense is still a work in process though. Wouldn't be surprised to see YSU break a few big plays.
I do think YSU's run defense is going to struggle against UND's rushing offense. They have a very good stable of backs who needed a bye week to get healthy. Based on last week's game, it appears the time off came at a very good time and they looked good against UNI.
Belquist is a tough matchup against anyone and he's been able to take advantage of teams trying to stop the run. The rest of the WR's are still trying to find their role with a QB who has struggled on throws.

I picked North Dakota on the pick'em challenge, but this game feels like an upset waiting to happen. It's just really hard to pick a 2-6 team to beat a 5-2 team. By this point in the season they usually have those records for a reason.

I expect the Hawks run game to be a problem for YSU who are among the NCAA leaders in giving up run yardage. YSU is starting to accumulate nagging injuries as they play 12 straight games - no byes, no breaks.

I also picked UND. However I expect a close game. If YSU had even an average D I could see a solid upset possible. But they don’t defend the run or pass very well. They have lost 6 of 8 games for obvious reasons.

Three more gains left. Two of which are on the road. Would be big to build on this victory and win out, although that may be a tall task. Nonetheless the next three do not have "Dakota" in their name, so I suppose anything is possible.
