TOWSON, Md. – Towson University soccer players Demi Pierre and Maja Hansson grew up in Sweden - more than 4,000 miles from Towson. Neither was certain of playing college soccer in the United States until head coach Katherine Vettori paid a recruiting visit in June 2018.
