FLORENCE, Ala. – One week after taking a big step forward by recording the best home win of the program's NCAA Division I era, the 10th-ranked ACU Wildcats suffered one of their most disappointing losses. The Wildcats had no answer for North Alabama quarterback J.T. Smith Saturday night as the senior transfer from Florida Atlantic University threw for 220 yards, ran for 94 yards, and accounted for a career-high six touchdowns as the Lions upset the Wildcats 47-34 in a United Athletic Conference game at Braly Stadium.
