I would love to be a fly on a wall when ESPN and Montana State discuss "things". The network knows the type of theater MSU offers. But that alone isn't enough to make things work....yet...

To scale, it's not much different than K-State at Colorado....

Montana St showed very well tonight but they're not in the same galaxy as Colorado with the Deion/Shedeur/Hunter show when it comes to TV. Ironically enough the fact that the game was a snoozer will hurt the ratings. I switched to the K-State/Colorado game an hour ago since it's actually competitive.

And yes, Montana St should clearly be above NDSU in the polls... possibly above SDSU as well but #2 at worst.

I watched the Kstate Colorado game and Sanders shredded them for most of the game and I thought Colorado looked like the better team, particularly on offense although they cannot run the ball. K-State had a chance to step on their throat following a pick, up 24-14 but Klieman and company got super conservative which led to a 3 and out. K-State also held Colorado to -27 yard rushing. Sanders basically willed them for 60 minutes in order for the Buffs to even have a chance.

I would love to see SDSU get another shot at Oklahoma State or to see how Montana State would fare against a team like West Virginia or Texas Tech.

4.7 yards a carry isn’t shredding someone, it is pretty good but not that great.

Giddens had 182 yards on 25 yards, 7.3 ypc. He was a menace. Why they chose to run Edwards up the middle, 3.0 ypc, instead of getting him in space I'm not sure. Either way, Giddens was in beast mode all night. Yet, not quite at the level of Tommy Mellott's 11 for 140 (12.7 ypc!) and 2 TD showing. But I digress.

K-State under Klieman remains in the vain of NDSU teams past. Except, the Wildcats don't have the depth of talent relative to our peers like NDSU has/had.
