Only 5,642 at Schoellkopf to witness Harvard’s demolition of Cornell, 38-20. Leave it to a hockey school to blow a chance to impress a national TV audience (ESPN2). Fricking embarrassing. I guess all the Mets fans at Cornell are still out celebrating. New Yawk stiffs!

Numbers like that won't forestall the eventual razing of the Crescent.

Oddly, guys on the Yale FB Board are insisting that the crowd was bigger than 5,000. And it did look that way on television...
So who the hell knows?

10,223 at Fitton yesterday on a beautiful day for Homecoming.
I would have thought there'd be closer to 15K....maybe the season's slowish start hindered the crowd.

Maybe they were counting tailgaters in parking lots like UNH.

Homecoming at UNH has changed a lot. Not to long ago we would sell 18,000+ tickets for a stadium that official holds 11,015. Last year official attendance at Homecoming was something like 8,700 which was slightly more than average per game and not even the largest annual for 2023. You have to have tickets for everyone in your vehicle to even drive on to Boulder Field and homecoming parking is $75.

There were a number of schools that had Fall Break this past weekend. Not sure how much that impacted the numbers but it was the primary reason so many CAA schools had byes this past weekend.
Not an issue with the Big Sky though. I was just curious, take a look at these support numbers. No wonder they host so many playoff games:
Montana 26,229 vs Northern Arizona
Montana State 21,907 vs Idaho
Sacramento St 14,916 vs Eastern Washington
UC Davis 10,515 vs Cal Poly
Weber State 10,345 vs Northern Colorado
Idaho State 5,618 vs Portland State
