YSU faces SDSU this Saturday in what is probably a laugher. YSU trails the series 17-7 and lost last year 34-0. It could be worse this year.

YSU does not have a quality QB as the Bunnies do. Instead they have an athlete masquerading as one . He is the son of a former YSU QB who lead them to 2 National Championships. The Bunnies also have a tough D which YSU fails to have.

The difference is YSU had a decent team last year that made the playoffs, won a playoff game and still got spanked 34-0 by the Bunnies. This year they have a joke of a team. The question is does SDSU rest their team while beating YSU or push the peddle to the metal and blast them to keep everyone sharp and maintain their lofty #1 rank in the polls.

Doubt Coach Rogers will take this game lightly, too many Hobo Day disappointments over the years. Gronowski finally had a good performance last week so here’s hoping he builds on it and keeps the momentum rolling into Fargo. Defense has also played lights out since getting torched by Ok State and UIW, only allowed 6 points in the last three games combined.

Run defense has been the strength for SDSU this year. Defense did a good job containing Ollie Gordon in week one but got torched by the Pokes passing attack, same with UIW. If YSU can’t pass that’s really bad news for them.

Rabbits big... Only hope of YSU keeping it respectable is if they can string some drives together and chew up the clock. If they can't do that, it will get ugly quick.

Their strength - quality QB and solid D limiting scoring.

Our weakness - lack of a QB and a D who can’t defend the run or pass.
