It would be great to see an Ivy team other than Penn or Princeton make it this year.xnodx

I'm sure the SWAC is headed to the play-in game, but naming a front runner right now is useless. When the SWAC tournament is over realistically any of the 10 teams could be the champ. xnonono2x

X Factor out west in the WCC---San Diego Toreros.

They have an impressive win at Rupp Arena (even if Kentucky is down, it is still a win at Rupp) and tonight they knocked off St Mary's in San Diego. This year the WCC tournament is at San Diego and, even though the home team has not done well in the conference tournament, the Toreros could steal a spot. If San Diego gets the auto bid (looking like a strong possibility every week), does the WCC get three in or does St Mary's or (perish the thought) Gonzaga go to the NIT?

Toreros get in means one more team from the FCS is in.

I think that Gonzaga and St. Mary's are locks unless a total collapse occurs between the teams. San Diego could ruin a BCS team's chance at a tournament bid. With each Kentucky win, San Diego gets a boost in the RPI and in Mid-Major positioning for an at-large bid.

Kentucky is starting to make a charge and will be in the mix in the SEC East. Despite losing to Florida on the road, they were the first team to defeat Vanderbilt and also beat Tennessee (both games were at home). If Kentucky can beat Tennessee and Vanderbilt on the road later this year then they certainly have a chance at an at-large bid.

I really think Davidson is going to be a dangerous team.
