To eclipse the Bulls 72-10 record, the Celtics would need to finish the season with a record of 40-2. xeekx For the all-time futility record, I believe the Timberwolves would need to lose out for the remainder of the season.

If you ask me, I think both of these records are safe for another year.

Sad too, when only a couple short weeks ago, both records seemed entirely within the realm of possibility.

If you want history, I think the Twolves are the most satisfied 7-34 team in NBA history. Really as fans, were we expecting anything more??? Case in point, this team got a standing ovation from the home fans after the first game of the year... in a losing effort.

Although Garnett is gone and I was sad to see him leave, many and even most fans were ready for a change, or shakeup.

Wolves got to figure out how to win games with under 2:00 minutes to play. They've let too many slip away this year.

Celts lose to the Magic at the buzzer today, 96-93. Boston a very ordinary 5-5 in its last 10. Record books on hold!
