I know QB Montes was hurt against SB and did not play this pat week- any word on if he will play this week? Also I see Julius Loughridge did not appear in the box score this past week but heard nothing about an injury, any clue?

I have heard others say Fordham is "banged up"- Obviously losing your starting QB is usually bad for any team, but does not qualify as "banged up" IMO- are there more injuries? Seemed like the same starting lineup for the first 3 weeks and then very similar against Dartmouth sans Montes, so maybe the people who do the game notes are lazy or is it really just Montes? If any word on his health would appreciate it and also wondering why Julius seemed to finish the SB game but then not play last week? Just how banged up is Fordham?

The Bowling Green loss is excusable for obvious reasons and although 33-3 was not good, Central CT seems to be good. Even Stony Brook seems vastly improved and The Ivy league it is tough to tell who is good yet but Dartmouth has had some good teams? are we walking into a trap this week or is something really wrong with The Rams and just how bad are the injuries? I appreciate ay insight.

Montes, Loughridge and their top WR was out vs. Dartmouth due to injuries. Dartmouth to me is an Ivy League title contender, and historically have a good defense, so a loss to them wasn't totally unexpected, also playing up at Memorial Stadium is no easy task for opposing teams of all stripes, I think. Montes was injured in the second half of the Stony Brook game with a lower body injury, but I don't know about the other two.

Loughridge's absence was especially rough for Fordham since he (still, I believe) leads the Patriot League in rushing. If Loughridge and Montes are back I'd maybe be worried about a trap game mostly because they are playing to save their season to some degree. After Monmouth they play Lafayette, and could be looking at an 0-6 start and lost season, so a win over Monmouth would brighten things a bit for them if they could do it.

Thank you- good stuff-- if they are at full health, it is 100% a trap game for us after an FBS win and with Delaware coming to town next week. They lost 41-17 to Bowling Green which was not awful considering BG played to within 1 score of Penn State and Texas A&M. They blowout loss to Central CT was not good but CCSU is a good team- The Stony Brook loss 27-21 now looks like a decent loss seeing as how SB is 3-1 and beat Campbell who beat WCU. Def. a team with nothing to lose who could change their whole season by beating us. Good to see Lehigh "up" again by the way--

Also, Fordham's best LB is out for the season.

At full strength, Fordham is a strong team. But they won't be at full strength. I suspect Monmouth should have an easy time Saturday....

MUHAWKS,

it's not a trap game for goodness sakes.... it's a big game

Right now, Fordham doesn't have the firepower to expose your weak defense, and they don't have the defense to deal with your skill players and your QB by the way is looking really good

you got this

Thanks GoGREEN - did not know that about the LB- - and C-HEN- if you were me you would be feeling it is a trap game. Maybe we have matured- On paper you are right about what you said. Our top WR prob out for this game and against you guys which sux b/c we need to be full for you guys..but otherwise we are relatively healthy= First 4 weeks have bee a roller coaster
could
cross coutry trip to EWU blown off the filed at least defensively. Heart breaking loss to Lafayette. a lot of teams at that point heading up to maine could have folded- we so far have used it as motivation to turn the season around. Blowout maine, FBS win.. all I am saying is I have seen stranger things. Jury still out on us.. If we come in saturday and win convincingly I wil be impressed b/c it shows maturity and focus not b/c Fordham is good

I don't know the status of any of the recently injured guys but I would be stunned if they play this weekend v resting for the only thing left to play for which is the PL part of the schedule.

Pre season AA Conway is out for the year. Otherwise I'm not sure about QB1, RB1 and WR1. The results thus far can't be pinned all on injuries though. Our playcalling, scheme and overall effort all also point back at the staff. Brutal year thus far
