Norfolk State defensive back Daylan Long earned MEAC Defensive Player of the Week honors, following a 32-10 win over VMI. Long registered the first pick-six for the Spartans since the 2019 season, intercepting Brady Hammonds' and returning for a touchdown in the third quarter. He also added four solo tackles and a pass break-up in the win.
