I can't believe it's been 42 years since Super Bowl I. xsmhx
And I watched every one of them. I could probably recall where I watched every SB game.
How many have you watched?

I have only watched the last 12 Super Bowls (I have no memory of any games before Super Bowl XXX, and I'm assuming I probably did not watch any of them.)
However I have seen every Super Bowl on NFL Films, does that count?

I can remember watching the Super Bowl from Super Bowl XVII watching John Riggins run over the Dolphins. My favorite Super Bowl memory was watching Doug Williams take it the Broncos. The whole city of Baton Rouge was behind Doug even though he was a Grambling Tiger. xlolx
Basically I've watched every Super Bowl from XVII to now.

The first Super Bowl I remember paying attention too was Super Bowl XXVII when Dallas beat Buffalo 52-17.

First one I remember is Giants-Bills during the first Gulf War.
The Bills losing every Super Bowl was more amazing to me than the Niners or Cowboys or Redskins winning every Super Bowl in those years.

I think the first one I ever watched was SB XVI in January 1982. I was 6, almost 7.
Definitely remember 1983 and Riggins running all over Miami and then in 1984, he couldn't do anything against the LOS ANGELES Raiders. Remember them? xlolx
Still love my Bears trouncing New England 42-10 in 1986. Was hoping to add to that last year but Peyton Manning had other plans. xbawlingx
Rooting for New England in 2008.

I watched the first one with my dad. I've probably seen bits and pieces of almost every one, but not all 60 minutes of any of 'em since the last time the Iggles were in it.

Weren't you like 4 when that happened? xconfusedx
Not ragging, just curious as to how you could remember something like that
I vaguely remember that one, though I was only 5, because my Dad (big Giants fan) got really excited when the Bills guy did something wrong. At least, I'm guessing that was Wide Right...
As for actual memory, I definately remember 49ers-Chargers (XXIX in 1995), and every one since then. Best ones I remember were XXXII (Broncos-Packers), XXXIV (Rams-Titans), XXXVI (Patriots-Rams) and XXXVIII (Patriots-Panthers).
Worst was XXXV (Giants-Ravens) xbawlingx

It's actually one of my first memories. Appropriate.
I also remember Michael Jackson at halftime just standing there for like a minute not doing anything with his sunglasses on. I think that was 93.

I was nine when I watched the first SB.
Went with my Dad to his friend's house to watch it. I didn't want to go, but Dad made me since the host had a kid the same age as me and they insisted I also came over. Melvin was a chubby kid that kids in the class made fun of. So I wasn't looking forward to having a great time with Melvin.
Got there, and I had to spend the time in Melvin's room so the parents could party. Turned out to be pretty cool. He was an only child and his parents spoiled the crap out him, which was unheard of in the 60's. He had a nice TV in his room, along with any game or toys that I could possibly name. He had stuff that's been on my wish list for years.
Every 20 minutes, Melvin's mom brought us something to eat. Burgers, chips, pizza, ice cream cake. Whatever we wanted. Man, I was really liking this. His mom was a little chubby also, but very nice. So, we ate, played and watched the first Super Bowl.
And the second Super Bowl. And the third.
Melvin and his family moved after SB III. My parents stayed in touch with his parents, I think I might of talked to Melvin maybe once on the phone.
In Dec, 1983, I was stationed in Virginia Beach. Got home, and wife said a guy named Melvin called and left a number. Had no idea it was the Melvin from my childhood. So, I called him, and we chatted awhile. Come to find out he was a lawyer, working in DC. And a big Redskin fan. He remembered I always rooted for the AFL (AFC) teams, especially the Raiders. ( I rooted for the Raiders in SB II, but was a Charger fan at heart)
Make a long story short, Melvin invited me to Super Bowl XVII, all expenses paid. Redskins vs Raiders in Tampa Bay. Turned out Wayne Newton was Melvin's uncle.

Beat you all..I definitely recall the Super Bowl of 1973 when the Dolphins beat the Redskins, 14-7. I still remember Garo trying to pass after the FG was blocked and came back to him and making this laughable attempt and Mike Bass picked it off and returned it for a TD. I think I somewhat recall seeing the Colts - Jets but I dont specifically recall.

For some reason the AGS Old Pharts contingent has been quiet on this thread. So, Pards Rule I've got to steal your thunder as I've watched all of them. And I know of probably a dozen other members who can say the same thing.
I was in HS for the first game and a Green Bay fan so I do recall Bart Starr, Jerry Kramer, Max McGee, Boyd Dowler, etc.

I remember staying up late writing a paper for English Class that was due on Monday. I didn't want to miss a second of that game. I remember Ottis Anderson running all over the Bills.
Plus this game was the first of four losses in a row for the Bills. xlolx

First one I remember was Pittsburgh/Dallas, when the TE for Dallas dropped that TD pass. See it all the time on NFL Films highlights.
I can honestly say though, the past six or seven SB's I really have not watched, at all. Maybe I've watched 25% of the game, if that (except when the Eagles were in it a few years ago). Weird, because I watch just about every play of every playoff game.

I remember my dad bought me a Jim Kelly replica jersey for Christmas one year...I had the helmet and shoulder pads and everything. I think I just liked the colors back then...I was also a big bengals fan...they reminded me of FAMU when I was kid(Orange is my favorite color)...too bad Cincinatti sucked in the 90s...lol
All about the Florida teams now...xnodx

First Super Bowl i remember was San Franciso and Cincinnati and the drive. I rember watching that game and then Darrell Waltrip re-doing the Ickey Shuffle when he won the Daytona 500 about 3 weeks later. My dad was a big Nascar fan back in the day and while i remember the '88 Daytona 500 i have no recollection of the Redskin's-Brocono's game a few weeks earlier even though my family surely had a party.
