I’m hoping someone can help me out here!

In previous years, Maddux Sports would post early lines for FCS games, usually on Wednesday. I wasn’t able to bet the lines, but they were a decent proxy for what would be posted on Saturday so I could start looking into games mid-week and be prepared on Saturday when the lines started dropping on sportsbooks I have access to.

Unfortunately, Maddux doesn’t seem to be doing this anymore. Right now, they don’t list any FCS lines but I’m able to find some of the FCS vs FBS lines on certain sportsbooks.

Does anyone know of an alternative to find those mid-week lines?

Really since 5dimes went away, I have not been able to consistently find good lines. For the most part, the odds don't get put out there until really Saturday morning on most of the big sites (ActionNetwork, FanDuel, DraftKings, etc.). FCS vs FBS are usually available, but FCS vs FCS are most likely going to be pretty last minute.

I think they limit bet size to $10k or so on FCS.

I started betting on FCS around 2017 and the lines have gotten much sharper, but there’s still tons of value. Back in the day I didn’t even really need to do much research - they would just post terrible lines that any FCS fan could see value in. There would regularly be lines that were posted then move 7+ points before kickoff. That’s a lot more rare now.

If I’ve lost the advantage of getting a sneak peak at lines mid-week then that makes my life a lot harder. It’s very difficult to analyze 60+ lines on Saturday, plus I don’t want to sit in front of my laptop all day anyways.

It remains to be seen if this will continue throughout the 2024 season, but many books such as FanDuel, DraftKings and bet365 released major FBS vs. FCS lines way ahead of schedule for Weeks 0 and 1. The typical experience is that the FCS betting menu gets released one by one at about 11 a.m. ET on the day of the game.Aug 28, 2024

I won big $ betting FCS last year. Realized Vegas has modicum of understanding of 1AA (no FCS anymore as FBS has 12 round of playoffs)
