The Light Blue will take the gridiron in the final football practice of the season on Saturday afternoon, culminating a month of hard work with the annual spring football game. Since April 1, the team has practiced three days a week, making personnel adjustments and looking to replace the graduating senior class.
“Our focus for the spring has been don’t talk about it, be about it,” head coach Bob Shoop said. “You know, actions sort of speaking louder than words ... Basically we keep it simple in the spring, try to identify personnel, you know, who our best players are, so when we come back in the fall, we have an idea of who is going to be the depth of the team.”
Graduation will deplete much of the offense, creating competition at almost every offensive position...
