It won’t earn any style points, but after 21 months that doesn’t matter to the Cowboys. Returning from a second-quarter benching, quarterback Clifton McDowell scored a pair of touchdowns in a 1:36 span of the fourth quarter to rally McNeese State from the throws of disaster. That lifted McNeese to an ugly 21-7 teeth-clenching victory over Southern Saturday night in their home opener in front of 17,040 inside Cowboy Stadium. D’Angelo Durham added an insurance TD from 2 yards out with 5:04 remaining....

Explain to me the "on the field" losing streak????

The Cowboys last beat an opponent on the field of play in November 2022 (Lamar), and had not beaten anyone since. Last season (2023) McNeese was credited with a win due to a forfeit by the Northwestern State Demons who cancelled their season after a horrible tragedy, but did not claim an on the field victory.

Southern always travels well - the team comes in two buses and their band "The Human Jukebox" comes in nine buses - wherever they go. No one got a good shot of the visitor side Saturday, but here is a pic from 2019 when Southern visited Cowboy Stadium. With The Human Jukebox and fans, they filled about half of the visitor side, but there is some royal blue (McNeese) fans scattered around that section, too. Real good fans who love their Jags!

I could tell just by watching a few minutes of the game and noticed that the fans were watching the game, but I was disappointed, like you said that they never zoomed out and showed me a wide shot
