Hello,

Almost all of the games will be blowout Ls for the SLC teams for the week.

That is true. It appears that most will be.

I'm reluctant to pick UNT, as I'm still not sure what SFA brings to this game as a whole, but I do think SFA has the speed at WR with Harris, Green, Nabors, and Fluellen as well at RB talent with Jones, Williams, and Wimbley to have some explosive plays against a weak UNT defense.

Not sure about Sam Vidlak, who went 8 for 8 for 288 yards and 5 TD's against NAIA NAU, but that was pretty much a glorified practice game. Vidlak's throws though did look sharp and he did drop some dimes, but lets see him under pressure in the pocket.

The Jacks did have a good showing against Troy last season, who I think is better than UNT.

But has the SFA defense improved?

Can they get pressure on UNT QB Chandler Morris, this weeks AAC Offensive Player of the Week? SFA struggled getting to the QB last season, the secondary got carved up for it.

Note, SFA has not beaten a FBS team in 24 years (Louisiana Tech in 2000) but they have been close in the Carthel era.

Again I'm picking UNT, but would not be surprised if the Jacks pull this one out.

It's still too early for lots of teams to know much by their opponents. You know your opponent was horrible. I don't think Cowboy fans are certain Tarleton or Southern are that good. This weekend we play SEC Power 4 Texas A&M for a payday. We still won't know that much.

Good luck against UNT. It will probably be a bad weekend for the SLC, but any good showing can only help.

Just read that a horrific call allowed Arkansas State to get a win over UCA. Pathetic!

I missed the Nortwestern St game, so I am 18-1 for the season. Putting this here not to brag but so I can refer to it when I forget.

You have lots of competition this season if you want to retain your title.

I think I am going to miss a few this week.
