ORONO, Maine — Colgate football dropped its season opener on the road, falling to Maine, 17-14. Senior quarterback Michael Brescia racked up 248 yards of total offense while classmate Brendan Cassamajor added his fourth score on the ground in as many games. Defensively, Colgate only allowed 287 total yards behind junior Cole Kozlowski's career-high 10 tackles.
