Got a book for Christmas by John Grisham called Playing for Pizza.
About a washed up NFL QB who goes to Italy to play in their league for the Parma team for one last shot to show someone he can still play. Just started it, but it seems like it will be fun.

I'll take "Andy Roddick Beat Me With a Frying Pan" for the best sports book of the year. It's a fun read by Todd Gallagher not just because of it's topics, but in his writing style. The guy really is a funny man.

"It Never Rains in Tiger Stadium" John Ed Bradley's account of what it was like to play for the Tigers, and how hard it was to let go of his Glory Days.
"Breaker Boys" True Story of the 1925 NFL Champion Pottsville Maroons. A look at the wild and crazy coal region boys who were pro footballs best team that year

I also received that one for Christmas. It's a good read. I like Grisham's suspense more than his other books (i.e. "A Painted House"), but liked this one from the football and European standpoint.
I also received and read Dungy's "Quiet Strength" and think that it's a great memoir AND great sports book.
