I noticed that with the others. The format got screwed up. The Montana State/New Mexico game is on FS1 as mentioned in the paragraph below it, not on ESPN2.

Oh, yeah the format on that post is pretty bad. Teams listed 2x, gap where there shouldn't be, no gap where there should be, "buy tickets" unnecessarily included.

Hmm, since TSN was acquired by STATS, we have had a hard time sticking to one format of the scores. I'll be using NCAA.com for this season but it's sometimes unreliable.

Defense played well. Even with getting burned by a couple big plays, UNM only had 173 yards passing, 152 rushing. I'm not mad at 335 total yards of offense against an FBS. Offense was a machine, rushing for more yards than UNM had total (362) and passing for another 205. Ball control by Tommy.... not good at all. Neither fumble was a blindside hit. The second one, he was trying to throw (not saying he WAS throwing, but he saw the pressure and tried to get rid of it too slow). First one, he really should have had it secured much better. Like you said, take away those gaffes (trying to do too much) and they cover the spread easily.

UNA was up 15-13 late Q3 when SEMO drive to score with 15 secs left to go up 5. Then drove again early-mid Q4 to go up 27-13. Then got 2 later TOs and converted short field scores for 10 pts to win 37-13 ... great finish for SEMO at home but it was an even game for 3 qtrs.

I checked the MWC Board and they cited all the unlucky breaks for New Mexico (dropped passes, missed FGs.) It is funny how two boards see the exact game differently.

I watched some of the game. Both sides were lucky and unlucky.

It was a great contest.

But SEMO, who justifiably didn't break into the preseason top 40, might be. They performed well despite losing their Payton Watch QB in the first half. Of course, it remains to be seen how North Alabama performs over the course of the season.
