ANY EWU FANS ON THIS SITE?

What you guys got? Seems like a good Qb and very good WR and some athletes on O.. D improved? Expectations for season? will student be back for the opener against us, if not crowd still good?

Kalm is a big EWU fan. He is one of the host of the Wedge podcast (pinned thread at the top of the forum). I would expect EWU to have a high powered offense, as always, but someone more in the know will have to tell you about any improvements on D, which are sorely needed. It looks like Monmouth was involved in lots of high-scoring games last year, so this could be a shootout.

good memory friend- i def aint flying! MAY drive to Miami for FIU but not enough time for this- ESPN + it is. will be a welcome thing and bring back good memories watching this on ESPN and not FLOOO

may be a rpt story if so i am sorry- but last time I flew was in 2015 or 2016 i forget which year but MU was playing UNC in hoops at chapel Hill. I ha courtside sats given to me from an old buddy who played football at UNC. Was living in Long island at the time.. think was 9:30 am flight i took car to JFK like 6:30 am and started chugging white wine, took some xanax and it was NOT a good mix- flew first class so was first one on plane-- immediately had two beers, passed ot, next thing i knew they woke me up on runway in carolina i was drooling- the friend who gave me seats picked me up for lunch and I could not even stay awake. Embarrassing- and did not do this b/c I am some sort of substance abuser but I truly am that scared in a plane.

I gotta be honest 9/11 did a number on me. Although not directly affected I was working right next door 1st job out of school and outside watching it- had nightmares for years- I know the "statistics" about safety but I explain it to people like "would you go on the worlds craziest roller coaster for 2 hours" b/c that is what it feels like to me-- then add the mind getting best of you and panic sets in.. Not a great place to have full blown panic attack.
