RICHMOND, VA. (August 15, 2024) … Hampton running back Elijah Burris has been named to the Black College Football Player of the Year Watch List. A preseason All-Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) running back, Burris was second in the conference in rushing yards per game, averaging 114.7 yards per contest. For his career, Burris has rushed for 1,774 yards with 14 touchdowns in 2023, ranking him 11th on the school's all-time rushing list.
