The names highlighted were not in my first post and I just missed a couple of you but it is now corrected. Great job to all and sorry recognition was missed on a few. Thank you to the The Cats for alerting me.

Three of the eight with perfect perfect streaks will be well-challenged in our aim to maintain the streak this year as our beloved Hens are no longer eligible.

Great honor to join the double digits club! It's been a great decade of FCS.

The only badge that never goes away is after completing 10 seasons. The others are all markers that can be lost or taken back a step if you miss perfection for a season or two then it regresses. After 10, HOF, stays no matter what.

Well done man, you are real close to it.

I missed at least one guy on the list and that The Cats. I need to go repair that but wanted to call out that one as he is one of the guys that benefits from preseason ballot but missing one during the season and having a mulligan.

The Cats

Well done sir.

Could’ve sworn I got every poll last year. Then I went and looked back and realized that I missed the final poll….

True, but you also had the preseason mulligan and I missed that one too. I am f'n it by the numbers on this one. You will be added to the list tomorrow but I went and added the badge already.

Man, I know you have been working at it for a while and when you made it, I robbed ya! xlolx

Great job man, seriously thank you for showing up every week like that.

Not the easiest thing to do with my schedule either. I coach youth football in the fall, and Basketball in the winter.

Yes we are. STATS and others have some voters who don't take this as seriously as our group does. I use to vote in the STATS poll but asked them to remove me when I saw many of the names who joined that voting group because I felt the poll just would not be as good. I am proud to be a voter in the AGS Poll!

I gave it my best for 6 years but just felt my effort going forward was just not going to be good enough for AGS poll, it hurts but I'm done.

Good to see the number of voters went up

Congrats to all those who have achieved perfection through the years. To get though one year is quite a feat, but to keep at it year after year is quite amazing.

All those who participate in the poll have made the AGS poll a strong one to reckon with. Congrats to all of you, especially those who have stuck with it for so many years! xthumbsupx

After year one of the AGS Poll I realized the voters take it a lot more seriously. In the STATS Polls many school employees who vote are bias to their conference and I don't get why some people even have a vote.

I think that some folks, in some polls, are very strategic in their votes. There is a method to their madness. I'm sure people frequently try to game polls of all kind. I obviously can't prove that, but some polls don't make any sense sometimes. I'm convinced some probably rank teams in their conference or other opponents higher, or lower than they deserve for a variety of reasons. It may be calculated, but it may also simply be familiarity that causes this. Mainly because they are most likely to have watched their own, and their conf's games. It's easier to convince yourself that you are right if you have seen teams in action. It's why I try to at least watch a bit of as many games as I can. I have been surprised at how good some teams actually were after I watched them, when I wasn't very keen on them to begin with. I think that's why people have been a little down on the CAA since nobody can see most games easily/cheaply. I also try and review every single box score to get a feel of how games went down. There are so many sites now that it really is easy to review.

All of that seems logical and to add to it I think the fact the votes on the AGSPoll are vetted, before, and after the ballot is submitted means that there might be some of those same things here but at a much lower rate and for far less duration. Having to defend your ballot makes it a de facto requirement that you rank teams in a defensible order...at least after the first few weeks.

One of the other poss seems to be getting better and I don't know anything about how it runs internally but I can make an assumption that there are probably a more refined voter base that might even get challenged for very odd placements...but I'm just guessing. If that is going on I commend them for that effort.

I agree, and I think your comment on the CAA also applies to the Southern Conference but that’s more about ingrained bias towards a conference trying to pull itself up off the deck moreso then people not being able to see them play. There are always outliers though and actually, I think Delaware’s ranking has been aided to a small degree on the AGS poll by people generally not being able to see them play. Some other Hen fans have voiced that opinion as well

I know who put them on but not sure why. I did not want to hurt his feelings but he has been very nice to me and I like him so I did not say my true reason because I did not want to start anything. I am proud to be an AGS voter and had become ashamed to be a STATS voter.

Here are a few of my issues. We were not even voting on the All-America teams anymore. The Payton and Buchanan voting had become a joke in my opinion because it is all about stats. With all the games being online there is no excuse for voters not to see all these players. Also, some of those voters have treated SIDs very poorly. I chose to stop voting with STATS but the only way I am leaving the AGS Poll is if I am physically not able to do it or the AGS Poll Mods ask me to leave.
