I still don’t understand how Stony Brook flopped so badly. They have had a good teams, they have a good market to recruit.
Landing dead last in a 16 team league, with several move-ups, is a tough spot. Of course these are just projections. Is the issue there coaching?
I was also surprised Hampton came in as high as they did.

Hampton did beat Richmond last year 31-14. Not sure how that happened.

Heard they were all gonna play ‘em 1 game at a time and look to be 1-0 at the end of each week.

The crazy thing about Hampton, I've heard, is they are going to be more engaged and locked in with their interim coach. Despite firing Coach Prunty well into Spring Practice, they didn't lose players to the portal.
They're going to be a tough out.
Towson is also going to be a very scary team to play for CAA teams eying an At-Large bid or Conference title.

If they stay healthy and their QB can minimize the turnovers, Hampton will be a serious contender for the CAA Title, as much as it pains me to say that.

Serious contender for the conference title may be a bit of an over statement. Based on the preseason poll, the eight CAA teams Hampton plays in 2024 include: #1,2,3,4,6,8,9 and 14. Granted, the recent CAA preseason polls have not been highly predictive - there has been at least one surprise team tied for the championship in 2022 & 23. But Hampton is playing the toughest conference schedule in the CAA this season. 4-4 in the conference would be a very good outcome for the Pirates.

You’re setting yourself up for one of the greatest predictions in the history of AGS…. But I’m just not seeing it. .500 in conference maybe
