Received an announcement that Lehigh has been putting together a collection of games going back to 1958, at present, that can now be obtained through the Lehigh bookstore or website. In addition to individual games, several 'anthololgies' are being produced, including a special "The Top 20 Games Played at Goodman" in commemoration of the stadiums 20th anniversary this year. Will likely contain highlights of "The Kllingerman Catch", "The Big Hurt", and the infamous "Seven Shots from the One" goal line stand against JMU in the 2004 playoffs.

I hope they don't record the stinkeroo that Harvard played at Goodman in '07!:o

I'm betting that 2008 isn't much of a presence.

Great idea, actually. Here's hoping that their betters down the road in Easton do a copy cat.

Lafayette has offered DVDs of the last few seasons--go to "DVD store" on official website. If I hadn't had a friend in the valley kind enough to tape the games for me, I'd have explored the option--although a little steep at $20. Also, if one is an "all-access" subscriber the games are archived there, too.

Agreed, offering some of the historic games would be a great idea.

Historic games would be nice.... and yes Lafayette has been offering DVDs for over a year now, we beat Lehigh to the punch there, but we don't offer historic games and only season packages. I bought the 2002 game on DVD... very nice, but it is from the LSN broadcast WITH the dang commercials... remember the Bob Dole/Britney Spears/Pepsi commercial? Terrible...

Yea i just saw lehigh realized some of their games on dvd. I want to get a copy of some of the recent playoff games like vs. hofsta and jmu but $20 a piece is a little stiff.

That's great. I'd love to see some old Colgate-Lehigh action. I believe we have played you just about every year since 1960. A little Danny Keating (who died much too young) running the belly series would be fun, or maybe Ron Burton, Steve Goepel, Tom Parr or Mark VanEeghen - not to mention the track meets we played through most of the mid-late 1980's.

Hey, I remember a lot of times when the Engineers whipped us badly, like between 1972 and 1978. We got killed by them every year and, as Casey Stengel used to say, "you could look it up".

I remember '78 (6-38) and '90 (7-52) just as painfully. It's a great series!

I think this is excellent. I have been asking people to do this kind of thing at EKU for some time. Enjoy! And if any of them have the 1979 national championship game, please let me know!

You can contact Lehigh at www.lehighsports.com and see if they have the 1979 Championship game between Lehigh and EKU. The only reason they wouldn't have it (and some others) is if they were broadcast by ABC or other media who have not given Lehigh the right to re-release. I know some of the games back then were broadcast by ABC (i.e. our 1977National Championship game with Jacksonville State, we've been told is not available for this reason).

Yo Andy - does this include the playoff games too? I have the tape of the Delaware and UMass games (from a friend who taped them from TV) but alas nothing of the AppState game (cause it wasnt televised in the Philly area). So, if I order 2004, would it include AppState?
