This from the second section of the article...
Commissioner Bud Selig seems ready to suspend San Francisco Giants owner Peter Magowan and general manager Brian Sabean for looking the other way while a certain slugger bulked up and hit a bunch of home runs. Magowan and Sabean are front and center for the ethical dilemma many baseball people found themselves in regarding steroids. At some point, they had to suspect Barry Bonds was doing something.
It's just that Bonds was making owning the Giants such a good business to be in. He's one of the reasons that beautiful ballpark got built and the biggest reason those seats and suites have been hot items.
The Giants chose to enable Bonds rather than to take a stand on doing things the right way. The Astros did exactly the same thing when they acquired Tejada from Baltimore last month. More on that later.
It also was revealed Tuesday that medical exemptions for the use of Attention Deficit Disorder medication among baseball players increased from 28 in 2006 to 103 in 2007. Apparently some players have found Ritalin is a nice substitute for amphetamines.

Now it might just be me, but Selig himself must have suspected Bonds was doing something, hell 99% of Americans suspected it... So if Selig does indeed suspend these two wouldn't he himself be subject to a suspension since he could have and should have taken action on the matter?
