The New England Patriots have invited the young New Hampshire girl who was the winner in her age group in the Punt, Pass & Kick competion who was introduced before the 3rd quarter of the Colts/Chargers game along with the other winners.
As most of you know the Colts fans decided to boo the poor girl because she was sporting a Patriots jersey.
She will be on the field with the Patriots for the coin toss prior to the AFC Championship game against the San Diego Chargers this Sunday afternoon.

If the Pats really wanted to right a wrong, they should forfeit their game in Week 1 to the Jets because they cheated.

THE PATRIOTS IN GENERAL AND THE WHOLE REGION OF NEW ENGLAND HAVE MANY, MANY, MANY, WRONGS TO RIGHT. WHALE MURDERS, INDIAN MASSACRES, ILLEGAL INVASIONS OF FOREIGN COUNTRIES, ETC ETC. BASICALLY, EXCEPT FOR CLEETS WHO IS A FINE NORTHERN GENTLEMAN, YOU'RE ALL SCUM.

Whale murders? Indian massacres? Yet not one mention of the late unpleasantness? No mention of the conditions of tenament workers of the 19th century? What about the sensless and brutal tapping of peaceful maple trees for the sole purpose of feeding that nasty syrup habit?

There was absolutely nothing wrong about booing a girl wearing a Pats jersey at a Colts game. xrolleyesx If you wear the jersey of ANY rival team at someone else's home stadium, then expect the consequences and deal with it. xnodx

Yes - I am sure the Patriot fans would applaud politely if any participant was wearing a Jets or Colts jersey...
I really thought this thread was about the Patriots enforcing a dress code on Belichek.

Why wouldn't the Patriots have invited her even if she wasn't booed?
In any event, when it comes to young kids, it's somewhat mean spirited to boo a kid. If you're an adult and you wear an enemy jersey you know what to expect, but a kid should get a pass. xnodx

Agreed.
And, if you're a GSU fan, feel free to boo the parents of your opponents Senior players when they are introduced on Senior Day. Oh, and while you're at it, chant "GSU!, GSU!, GSU!" during the National Anthem. Both are wonderful displays of class and respect...

Cut Belichek some slack on that. With all the budget taken up on video equipment, there wasn't much left for wardrobe.

The girl was 15 and smiled while it was happening. She both knew why they were doing it, and didn't seem to care.
Let's not pretend they were booing some 6 year old xrolleyesx

A team employee was stopped and a recording device was taken, the recordings later revealed that the employee was recording signals from the Jets sideline....
The video in question was never used by the Patriots to gain an advantage in the game.
The Patriots did NOT cheat in the game.

Cry me a river with this booing thing. Newsflash, this happens invariably every year were the home team fans boo a kid wearing a rivals jersey during the presentation - I know it's happened every year I've watched it. Big deal. The kid laughs, the presenters laugh, and it's all good. What do you expect when they do it right before the 4th quarter of a pretty important playoff game? If they didn't want people to boo, do it during a pre-game ceremony when the place isn't as full or as rabid. But this isn't the first, nor will it be the last time this happens and every time I've seen it before it's not even involved the Patriots. Geesh.

Agreed. I had a friend in High School who was a big Islanders fan. He was at a game against the Devils and was selected for the Score-O competition (shot from center ice to the goal with a board covering all but a few inches for a puck to pass through).
When he got down on the ice, he took off his jacket to show off his Islander jersey to the boos of the crowd. He reveled in it.

This girl was 15, it's not a "wrong" and not a big deal.
As soon as they started doing this I turned to my wife and said: if one of these kids has a charger or patriot jersey, their going to get booed. It's happened every year I've watched the game in this time slot. The worst I remember was 91, some kid in a Skins jersey got it bad from the Lions fans.

No it wouldn't. No one would care, it's happened all the time in years past, only this time the Patriots must go out and show what a class organization they are, and protect the integrity of the game!!!
