In Summary: “The changes to the recruiting opportunities and recruiting calendar are necessary to accommodate the first opportunity to sign a National Letter of Intent in December. Additional recruiting opportunities during the spring contact period at the educational institution and any other location provides more opportunities for prospective student-athletes, their family members and off-campus recruiters to evaluate academic and athletic preparedness.”
