GRAND FORKS, N.D. - The No. 5 seeded North Dakota softball team squares off with No. 4 seed South Dakota Tuesday morning in the first round of the Summit League Softball Tournament. The Hawks and Coyotes will take the field at 11:00 a.m. at Jackrabbit Softball Stadium in Brookings, S.D. The first round of the tournament is a single-elimination contest, and the winner of this game will face No. 1 seed South Dakota State on Thursday. Following the first round of the tournament, the remaining tournament games will be in double-elimination format.
