RIYADH, Saudi Arabia — Columbia fencing's Sam Kumbla won two medals at the 2024 Junior World Championships in foil. Kumbla took bronze in the individual competition on April 12 and won a team gold two days later. The Lions had three additional current squad members represent their countries, including Sofia Gaydos (Spain—foil), Bogdan Hamilton (Canada—foil) and Skyler Liverant (USA—epee).
