AMHERST, Mass. *– Despite a lone singles win from Lara Bakhaya on court No. 4, 7-6(4), 6-1, the University of Richmond women's tennis team dropped a tough match at Massachusetts Saturday afternoon, 4-1. With the loss, the Spiders fell to 6-8 on the year and 2-3 in Atlantic 10 Conference play while the Minutewomen improved to 9-7 and 1-1 in the A-10. The match also marked Bakhaya's second-straight match scoring the lone point for the team (def. Shea Franny (Fordham 6-2, 6-1).
