Crazy story from USF, the wife (http://www2.tbo.com/content/2008/jan/04/sp-moffitts-wife-says-she-wrote-papers-took-classe/?sports-colleges-bulls) of third team All-American linebacker Ben Moffitt, said she wrote his papers and is filing for divorce.

I don't understand, she says she loves him and that she did it for him to play football, then why do this? Because he's raging from training/roiding up for the Combines?
If he finished in the top 3 for the Butkis Award he'll be drafted. What gives?
Besides of course a lifetime of fast food careers after the 3-4 year career in the NFL?

Sound's like someone is pi$$ed that they won't be getting the NFL lifestyle. xlolx
What do making these statement's now mean to him.....................NOTHING.
What they gonna do, suspend himfrom the team until all this is investigated. xlolx
She need to go to court, get divorced, and then trot her happy arse on with her life and be 50/50 in taking care of the kids. xnodx

What irritates me about this story is that it kinda sorta validates that a$$-clown Nick Saban who made disparaging remarks about USF's academic standards.
Regardless, I'm sure the school/Big East/NCAA will investigate. If it's only what she said, I can't see the program getting any sort of punishment.

Academic standards at these extremely fast growing Florida school like USF and UCF seem to be lacking in general just not for the FB players. I wouldnt be surprised if USF is letting in sub-standard athletes academic wise.

I have no doubt. But it's not like 'Bama is recruiting Merit Scholars for their football team either.

well thats true.. I guess I meant a higher amount of sub-par students than other top level programs who have more of a pick of the litter.
