First one has started and pretty much ended with USC dominating poor Illinois. xsmhx Did anyone really think that Illinois was a BCS bound team, when they were done with their regular season? Up next is hopefully a much better game from the underdog when Hawai'i and Georgia get together.

yeah, having Illini going to the rosebowl is stupid...the way Michigan played today and how they wanted to win so bad they could put up a game against USC

The BCS rules basically dictated this game - only two from a conference.

Michigan didn't have the needed number of wins to qualify for a BCS bowl.

Illini just scored on a long run. All they need is a turnover and quick TD and the game is totally different.

I understand the rules, I'm just stating that I never once thought Illinois was a BCS Bowl team

USC decided it was time to shut them up
35-10. Joe McKnight is showing why he was so highly touted 8 rushes 116 yards 1 TD avg 14.5 yards per rush.

Hawaii and Illinois are kind of in the same boat, but I'll give Hawaii more of a chance because they have a much more prolific offense than Illinois. I'm really pulling for the Warriors as they are this year's Boise State. With their defense being pretty decent, I give them a much better chance against UGA than Illinois ever had at USC.

Yeah and Hawai'i has a player who can take over the game at any moment. I think the D of Hawai'i will be the biggest issue. They got totally run over by UW in the season finale and UGA is twice as big and twice as fast as UW. But I think June Jones will have his "Rainbow" Warriors ready.(I still love calling them "Rainbow" Warriors)

I actually think Illinois had a chance to make that a competetive game but lost it through the turnovers. Don't get me wrong, USC clearly outplayed them and also created the turnovers by stripping the ball, tipping the pass, etc. But I think Illinois had its heart psychologically ripped out by the way it kept turning the ball over when it had something going.

My co-worker just came into my office wondering if I'd watched any of the games over that last couple days. He thinks the NCAA should really have a crack-down on sportsmanship by the way the players acted in those games.
Michigan-Florida pre-game...
I'd have to agree. Act like you've been there before.

I agree but some of those things happen because of emotion, it's hard to take that out of the game. I don't really agree with what Florida did, but things like that happen alot down here.
