My thoughts exactly.
I haven't seen one good match up that interests me in watching. I will watch the Rose Bowl, but only because my boy is the Illinois OC.

Match-ups haven't been amazing, but the games have been pretty good for the most part. Lots of games coming down to the wire.

I haven't gone out of my way to watch any of the games. I'll watch USC because they are what we have out west, and I'll also watch Hawai'i

Watching Michigan run the spread with Lloyd Carr still on the sidelines and Chad Henne at QB is weird enough; that they actually looked good on that first drive makes me think I've stumbled into some kind of bizarro alternate universe.

Wisconsin/Tennessee was a very good game with both teams outsmarting themselves at key times. Like Tennessee driving for a clinching score thanks to their starting QB throwing the ball very well then going to a backup running quarterback, getting stopped, then getting a field goal block . And like Wisconsin trailing by 4 and going for it on 4th and about 1 1/2...having been able to run the ball well with power against Tennessee most of the day...and instead trying a play action pass.
Michigan/Florida is also good.
I agree though. Most of the bowls...this year and every year...are devoid of meaning to anybody outside of the communities of the schools involved.

Michigan/Florida hasn't been a bad game. Rose bowl looks promising. LSU will probably kick the crap out of OSU, or at least I think so. Mizzou is a good team, too bad they didn't win their last game otherwise the NC game might be a little more intriguing (and legitimate).
But Mike Hart is probably one of the biggest punks in all of college sports. If he plays on Sundays he'll fit right in with T.O.

Right now Michigan/Florida is a very good football game. As for LSU kicking OSU...you never know what's going to happen...but I sure wouldn't count on it. It's like they said at the beginning of the Tennessee Wisconsin game: There's this perception of the SEC as clearly superior to the Big 10 but the actual results of head to head matchups simply don't support that perception. For the most part, when the two conferences have met each other in bowls, it's been very competetive.

Somebody needs to tell every single skill player in the country: DO NOT TRY TO STICK THE BALL OVER THE GOAL LINE. If you're tthat close, your team is probably going to score anyway. STOP THAT NONSENSE.

If Michigan would have played like this all year, it would have been a different story in the Big 10.

Good thing they don't have any speed. I mean, they had 4 turnovers to Florida's 0 and still won. Can you imagine what would've happened if they had players that can run?

Watching the Rose right now. I can't help but notice how much Musburger loves to say "John David Booty." I am going to take a big chug of a drink every time he says it during the game. New drinking game!! :)

He likes saying it for one reason: its a dumb name, and he's mocking it, I'm sure of it!!!
And when he isn't saying his name, you can clearly hear another rousing rendition of "Tribute to Troy" in the background.xrolleyesx I think USC's marching band needs to turn past the second page of their music book.

I love when the USC marching band gets going, after watching USC play the song is always in my head for at least a week.
P.S. No one can mock Musberger he is a Montana boy!!!! My grandfather actually dated his mom, that's how great Montana is.
