LoL. I love that video and I'm a Jets fan. They've been running pretty good in the draft though since Parcells righted the ship back in 1997. Unfortunately due to cap and other reasons the Jets weren't always able to hang on to some of these guys.

You mean holding the region hostage by threatening and almost moving the team to St. Louis? Or the hail mary deal to keep the Patriots in New England with a verbal agreement with the city of Hartford to build a new stadium and move the team...only to have MA cave and pony up some taxpayers money for Gillette Stadium?
Those were not great times in my mind as I was living in Massachusetts and having to console Patriots fans because of the front office issues...all while I'm having to deal with the stench of Rich Kotite as I'm a Jets fan. Good friends make sacrifices.

in 1994 Bob Kraft who at the time was the owner of Foxboro Stadium blocked the Patriots from moving to St. Louis by refusing a buyout of the lease, then using the leverage he had as owner of the stadium eventually bought the franchise.
Yes the Patriots almost moved to Hartford, but the team would have remained a regional team for New England in either location, the plans to go to Hartford were possibly a ploy all along by Kraft knowing the legislature would agree to the relatively low amount of money Kraft wanted them to include in the new stadium.
My point stands that once Kraft took control of the franchise it has gone no where but up.
The Patriots were never going to leave New England once Kraft bought the team, even if no deal was reacheed with the Mass legislature there were plenty of oppo=rtunities in the region including Hartford and a proposed deal for a stadium at Pease in New Hampshire.

Funny clip, but they needed to highlight who they passed on more. There were a couple of hints (O'Brien instead of Marino and a TE I've never heard of instead of Sapp).
