LEXINGTON, Va. – Despite an early 4-1 lead after the opening period, the VMI lacrosse team could not sustain the momentum as Long Island University rallied to tie it up at 5-5 at the half and eventually earned a 17-8 victory over the Keydets on a rainy Saturday afternoon at Drill Field #2.
