According to ESPN Radio 1000 here.
From Paxson: Difficult desicion to make, but necessary at this time. Helped us at many times, helped them get back to respectability.

I blame Paxson...He refuses to give out extensions to his best players, dangles them all to LA in the off-season for Kobe, then expects them to perform under a coach who they admittadly quit on (Duhon says so in an interview) Fire Paxson too while they are at it!!

I was surprised when Duhon answered that question like that this morning too.

Too bad, hopefully they can turn it around in time. They have so much talent. Deng is a superstar waiting to happen and with all the other young fellers to not make the playoffs would be an embarrassment

I'm just really surprised they'd fire someone on Christmas Eve like that.

Not the classiest move whether it needed to happen or not. xnonono2x

Tim Floyd resigne from the Bulls on XMas eve - eventhough we all know he was forced to resign. The Hawks jackass owner at the time Dead Man Wirtz fired a coach on Christmas a few years back.
Maybe it's a Chicago thing?

First, it was a classless move to do on Christmas Eve, that usually is a period when you don't do anything, like a Christmas truce. The only exception to me would have been Isaiah Thomas.
Besides didn't help tonight Spurs 94 Bulls 79.
