Dear Friends of William & Mary Athletics,Earlier this month the nation celebrated National Girls and Women in Sports Day, making our "Power Play" feature story in the winter issue of WM Magazine especially timely. The article focuses on Mashea Mason Ashton '96, M.A.Ed '97 (soccer), Molly Ashby '81 (tennis), Katy Neumer '07 (basketball) and Jennifer Tepper Mackesy '91 (soccer) and how their experiences as Division I athletes contributed to their success. A companion piece furthers the point by looking at an additional athletics alumnae group and their achievements in the business and nonprofit sectors.
