I didn't realize "New England" was a town.

I would say that's really just two titles in Boston.

12 time NFL champions Green Bay of course is titletown.

Titletown.org (http://www.titletown.org/)
Wiki Green Bay (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Green_Bay,_Wisconsin)

Green Bay is nicknamed "Titletown, USA" for the number of NFL titles (12) it has won over the years (including the first two Super Bowls as well as Super Bowl XXXI).

Well we can add up the Yankees 26 WS titles, Brooklyn's 1, The Mets' 2, The Giants' 7, 6 NFL titles for the Giants, 1 for the Jets, 2 Knicks NBA titles, 4 Islanders Stanley Cup wins, 4 Cups for the Rangers...53 titles in 102 years.

"Boston" - 5 cups, 16 NBA titles, 3 SB titles, 7 WS titles.

Just take the main NY teams: Yankees, NY (football) Giants, Knicks and Rangers and you'd get 26+6+2+4 for a total of 38. :p

Heck, just the Yankees have as many titles as the Celtics, Red Sox and Patriots combined. :D

To be fair, we can add the one title the Boston Braves won... :D (since they played there until 1952, almost as long as the Giants and Dodgers played in NY)

KG is a Chicago boy! Left SC to come to Farragut Academy and join Ronnie Fields (6'3" with a 50": vertical). Those two were sick together! You will never see two guys of that caliber together in highschool again.

I was fortunate to see them play in high school a handful of time. I can not find the video but in the pregames Garnett would jump up and put something ontop of the backboard and Fields would jump and get it off.
