Fresno St. #21 sure would be nice for us to get to the college world series for the first time since 1991. Hell even a super regional

Fresno State should win the WAC. Their schedule is a little light.
Fresno State has 5 games against top 40 teams. Cal Poly has 26 games against top 40 teams.

Brown won the Ivy League last year and made its first-ever playoff appearance. However, we lost our first two games and were eliminated. This year, I think our team lost a lot of key players, so I don't know if they can repeat.

Wichita State from our conference is also in the top ten, but they don't have football (yet).

We lost a lot from last year's NCAA Regional team, but at least we're still in votes for others. The Bobby Moranda era starts in Cullowhee vs Marshall on February 22, 2008. GO CATAMOUNTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SHSU almost made it super-regionals last year...and we have some talent coming in that should make some REAL noise. We're taking away recruits from UT and OU.

The Citadel is going to be strong this year, but as usual, no love in the preseason polls. We'll just have to do our voting on the diamond.

The College of Charleston getting votes smells like homerism. They are going to be weaker than last year.

The Citadel Bulldogs will be the 2008 Southern Conference Champions.
