Sixteen Former Southland Players on NFL Opening-Day Rosters
Rookie Ray Perkins, a former SLU standout, also playing in the league.

PLANO, Texas - A total of 16 former Southland Conference football players were on NFL rosters when the season opened last week. In addition, SLC newcomer Southeastern Louisiana has one of its former players on the San Diego Chargers roster, giving all seven current league members at least one professional player.

I can't recall where I heard it,(maybe Eagles-Falcons on Mon.night),but they said that the Ivy league is the only IAA conference to have every school represented in the NFL this year.

Anyone else hear this?
