After multiple TD returns, Mr. Exciting, Johnny Gray getting left off of everybody's list for returner is upsetting. Here's his most memorable return of the year, offered as support for this argument.

Looks good. The only one I would disagree with is Byrne on the OL. He just seemed slow and didn't look good in the title game.

Gray had 1 punt return TD, while Gilchrist had 3, and led FCS in PR avg.

Well according to this there are no SIU players that are All-American worthy...which I guess is a good thing since it means we aren't losing anyone valuable [ /sarcasm]

Looks like these are the only "consensus" players so far (CSN, Camp, AFCA, AP):

Ricky Santos
Ramses Barden
Chad Rinehart
Omar Cuff
Kerry Brown
Bryan Smith
Kroy Biermann
Brian Johnston
Derrick Huff
Tony LeZotte

Hard to argue with four of the six POY selections...Lynch and Frazier aren't bad choices but certainly debatable.

I'm about to post the concensus list here in a few. I was going to wait til TSN comes out and post the updated list. I am also going to add it to the thread with all the all-america teams posted. It makes it easy for everyone to see the teams in one condensed thread.

Here is something interesting I was thinking about. Taking all of the All-America teams as a vote and giving a player 3 points for 1st team, 2 for 2nd team, and 1 for 3rd team and combining the AP, AFCA, Walter Camp, TSN, CSN, Don Hansen, and Dopke teams for a massive All-America listing. I would only use a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd team as Hansen and Dopke do a 4th team or HM list. I won't include those names. I will wait til the TSN teams come out and start calculating the votes.

What do you all think?

CSN made the best selection in COTY when they tabbed Frazier. There was no one better. For a program synonymous with losing, he has made them a winner and should continue to do so!

Keep it up HF III!

He did a great job. There so many worthy this year so it is a hard choice to make. Frazier is def. a good choice!

Come on now. We are going to be fair! xthumbsupxOkay, fair. Quarter points. xlolx Hansen's came out in March 2007 for 2006. Don and Brad pick their teams by themselves and frankly they are questionable.

Nice to see Kroy on another, and great to see Colt Anderson.

However, that last kick must have cost Dan Carpenter more than I thought...xeyebrowx

Well the cut off for this is January 1st. If the team has not been released by then I won't include them. I think that is fair. Don't you?
