Bobcat fans went crazy over this poll...

You could vote hourly and that is what they did. Some even cleared their cookies and voted more than hourly. I love how fan sites can just take over a poll...

Regardless, great pub for them -- though the article was more slanted towards the Univ of Texas...

TT, it really doesn't matter how we did it. It's not like we had thousands of votes more than they did. Austin/UT should be embarrassed to be shown up in their own paper by "little" (as they've referred to us before) Texas State.

Population of UT-crazy Austin--around 500,000.
Population of San Marcos--40,000

Enrollment of UT--55,000-60,000 (?)
Enrollment of Texas State--about 28,000

AND, it's from the AUSTIN American Statesman (THEIR hometown paper)

Regardless, there's no reason UT/Austin folks should be outnumbered on anything by Texas State.

Then again, it's just a freaking poll. I did, however, enjoy the bitter mood of the author. Quite humorous.
